Time Period: 1895-1940
Original model: F A Stenman N:o 3 slim
Material: The lock case is in untreated steel and the knob is in untreated brass.
Versions: The lock is supplied with a right-handed or left-handed knob. The picture shows a right-handed knob. The lock itself is mounted on the inside of the door, while the key plate is attached to the outside. This chamber lock also works perfectly as a bathroom door lock!
This chamber lock is sold with the knob, key, screws and angle strike plate. Please note: Specify in the drop-down list whether you want an angle strike plate (“vinkelslutbleck”) or clamp (“krampa”) (see picture 3) and whether you want a right-handed or left-handed lock.
How do you know whether you need a right or left-handed lock? If you open the door towards you and the hinges are on the right side, you should have a right-handed lock. If the hinges are on the left side, then choose a left-handed lock.
