Shaws Bowland 600 single basin with overflow. Shaws has been manufacturing kitchen sinks since 1897 and is considered one of Europe's true quality manufacturers. This sink is compatible with Shaws' extra-large drain valve (drain basket) with porcelain inlay. Drain basket sold separately, see below under related products.

All porcelain from Shaws is handcrafted and therefore has a tolerance level on the dimensions of +/- 3%. This is why we strongly recommend that you have the sink on-site when making the hole in the countertop. There are no templates for these sinks that can be sent in advance. The sink should also be supported from below in the cabinet.

The porcelain in the sink is called fireclay and is entirely homogeneous, unlike regular sanitary porcelain, which has two thinner surfaces with air in between. This homogeneous construction makes the sink very stable and quite heavy. Therefore, ensure a robust structure to support the sink itself.
